The Dutch Travel Winds (DTW) are an ADHOC initiative just for the summer of 2004. This ensemble is a result of a group of friends who know each other from several musical projects. Most of the musicians study at a conservatory in the Netherlands. These enthusiastic people like to spend their holiday together and also want to make music during their holiday. The variant program is prepared in Holland. The concerts will be conducted by Mr. Joost Geevers, a talented young conductor who studies at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Holland).
In the beautiful country Belgium, the Dutch Travel Winds like to give several concerts on voluntary base for the local people and / or tourists. The repertoire of the Dutch Travel Winds varies from Baroque to Rock and Classic to Pop. Therefore the music is accessible for a broad audience. The concert locations could be festivals, squares, terraces from cafés or restaurants as well as concert halls. In short, the Dutch Travel Winds will play with a lot of enthusiasm and pleasure in Belgium!
